Waugh's wife released from hospital; recovering at home

Sydney, Aug 14 (UNI) Former Aussie cricket captain Steve Waugh's wife Lynette has been released from hospital and is recovering at home after undergoing life-saving brain surgery.

The 40-year-old mother of three underwent an operation last week to remove a blood clot caused by a brain haemorrhage.

''We are so happy to release this positive news,'' Australian newspapers quoted Waugh as saying.

''The last week has certainly been a time of deep emotion and reflection for me.'' Waugh said he and his wife had benefited from the support from their families, close friends and the public.
