SR cancels Comibatore-Mangalore passenger partially

Palakkad, Kerala Aug 14 (UNI) Southern Railway will cancel Train no 378/388 Coimbatore-Managalore-Mangalore-Coimbatore passengers partially between Tirur and Calicut for four days from August 16 to August 19.

According to a Southern Railway press release, the cancellations was necessitated due to the doubbling work between Shoranur and Kozhikode.

The train No 387 Coimbatore-Mangalore passenger would run upto Tirur and return back as train No 388 from Tirur to Coimbatore, while train No 388 Mangalore-Coimbatore passenger would run upto Kozhikode return as 387 from Kozhikode to Mangalore.

Baramulla, Aug 14: Just a day ahead of Independence Day, militants carried out two grenade attacks in north Kashmir, causing injuries to six people, including three Jammu and Kashmir police personnel official sources said today.
