Sensex trades 99 pts up in intra-noon trading

Mumbai, Aug 14 (UNI) The BSE Sensex was up at 11,290.90 points in the intra-noon trade which is 98.44 points more than the previous close.

Earlier, the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensitive Index (Sensex) had opened in the green by 29 points, as the midcap and the smallcap indices edged higher.

Major gainers on the index are - Bajaj Auto, Cipla, ONGC, HLL, Satyam and ITC, all up between 1.51 and 4.27 per cent.

Major losers were - Hero Honda, ICICI, HDFC Bank, Wipro, L&T and Ranbaxy, all down between 0.16 and 1.97 per cent.

Exim Bank forming corpus to fund SME exporters

Kolkata, Aug 14 (UNI) Export-Import Bank of India(Exim Bank) in collaboration with International Trade Co-operation (ITC) Geneva is forming a corpus of Rs 50-60 crore to fund exporters in small and medium enterprises (SME) sector. RIMS director appeals to co-operate with hospital activities

Imphal, Aug 14 (UNI) After Manipur Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh revealed that some militants were hampering the functioning of the hospitals, Director of Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) Prof L Fimate here appealed to the people to co-operate with the hospitals. Lower Dibang Valley district witnesses rise in diseases
