Parthiv to lead Gujarat in Buchi Baba Cricket tourney

Ahmedabad, Aug 14 (UNI) Former India wicket-keeper Parthiv Patel will lead the Gujarat team at the Buchi Baba Cricket Tournament at Chennai, which began today.

The team will be pitted against Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Rajasthan in the two-week long tourney.

Kirat Damani has been appointed the vice-captain. Akash Christian, Hem Joshipura, Bhavik Thaker, Timil Patel, Azhar Bilakhia, Anant Brahmbhatt, Jay Desai, Hemal Watekar, Ashraf Makda, Kalpesh Tandel, Amit Singh, Mohnish Parmar and Jagdish Patel are the other team members.
