NIEPA New Deemed University

New Delhi, Aug 14 (UNI) The New Delhi-based National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration has been declared a Deemed to be University under the University Grants Commission Act 1956, it was announced today.

The move by the Central government on the advice of the UGC was in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Act, the Human Resource Development Ministry said.
