Marketing sub-committee meeting held

Chennai, Aug 14 (UNI) The BCCI Marketing Sub-Committee meeting was held here today to open the bids for the official clothing rights for non-playing days, ground banner rights and the sponsorship rights for the tri-series to be played in Malaysia and Singapore next month.

India is scheduled to the participate in the tri-series in which Australia and West Indies are the other two teams.

The bids would be opened and the sub-committee's decision would be placed before the Marketing Committee tomorrow to finalise the bidder.

Marketing Sub-committee Chairman and BCCI vice-president Lalit Modi, BCCI secretary Niranjan Shah, Treasurer N Srinivasan, joint secretary M P Pandove and vice-president Sashank Manohar attended the meeting.

Former presidents A C Muthian, I S Bindra and R S Mahendra were also present at the meeting.

Colombo National Savings Bank's innovation

Chennai, Aug 14 (UNI) The Colombo-based National Savings Bank has enabled customers with online ATM, utilising the technology of FSS Tech, the worldwide services wing of the city-based Financial Software and Systems (FSS). The bank has implemented the state-of-the-art BASE24-es(tm) Electronic Financial Transaction Switch for ATM driving and online transaction authorization, a company release here said. Pepsi to move court if Kerala Govt notifies ban

New Delhi, Aug 14 (UNI) Chairman of Pepsi Foods Pvt Ltd Rajeev Bakshi today said he would explore all options, including legal actions, if the Kerala Government formally notifies the ban on his soft drinks, on the ground of excess residual pesticides.
