Japan's Sanyei Corp changes name to IndiaNivesh Ltd

New Delhi, Aug 14: Sanyei Corporation, a Japan-based trading company, today said it has decided to change its name to 'IndiaNivesh Ltd', subject to the approval of members in the Annual General Meeting to be held on September 11, 2006.

This was decided by the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on August 11, 2006, a company statement said.

The company's profile includes house ware, furniture, home electric appliances, apparel and pet-related goods.

Headquartered in Tokyo, the company distributes its products in both the domestic and overseas markets. It has three branches in Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya, 15 subsidiaries and three associated companies.

It operates in the US, Germany, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippine, Italy and Denmark.

Sexual abuse charge against BDO

Siwan, Aug 14 (UNI) Ram Vilas Chaudhary, Block Development Officer (BDO) of Goriyakothi in Siwan district, is facing the charge of sexually exploiting a woman for 13 months on false assurance of providing her a government job and a dwelling unit under Indira Awas Yojna. ISI-sponsored counterfeit racket busted

Lucknow, Aug 14: The Special Task Force (STF) of the Uttar Pradesh police have unearthed an ISI-sponsored counterfeit racket by arresting five people from the capital city today.The five youth told interrogators that they were handed over the fake currency by an official of the Pakistan High Commission in Kathmandu for distribution in India. the STF said the ''high quality'' fake currency was printed in a foreign country.The five accused, Dev Prakash Shukla, Kundan Kishore, Alok Srivastava, Dharmendra.....
