CLP to meet on Aug 17

Hyderabad, Aug 14 (UNI)The Congress Legislature Party(CLP) will meet in the committee room of the Assembly Building here on August 17 to discuss various issues during the monsoon session.

Party Secretary E Prathapa Reddy, MLA, in a statement here said Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy would preside over the meeting in which AICC General Secretary and incharage of A.P. Affairs Digvijay Singh would take part.

Live bombs recovered from school in WB

Siliguri, Aug 14: Four live bombs were today recovered from a girls' school in Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal which led to the intensifying of the security system here on the eve of Independence Day. An anonymous call to Phalakhata police station said four powerful bombs were in the district and might be detonated on or before August 15.
