19 AR nabs two Kuki cadres in Imphal

Imphal, Aug 14 (UNI) The 19 Assam Rifles (AR) have apprehended two cadres of Kuki Liberation Army (KLA), the spokesperson of Assam Rifles said here today.

Based on specific information about the move of KLA cadres, the 19 AR troops launched a search operation yesterday at Ukhrul district and nabbed a cadre.

The second one was soon apprehended based on informations obtained from the nabbed cadre, AR officials said.

One 9 mm pistol, one magazine and one radio set were recovered from them, they added.
