The CAB president was to appear before the Disciplinmary on August 15 in connection with the PILCOM accounts issue.
City Civil Court Chief Judge P.K.Sarkar in a directive in response to a petition moved by Dalmiya challenging the BCCI's summons to him for appearing before its Disciplinary Committee on August 15, adjourned the meeting till the case came up for hearing on August 22.
Meanwhile, BCCI counsel Ankur Chawla told UNI, '' We are waiting for the papers and after talking with all concerned we might decide to challenge the verdict. '' During the hearing, Dalmiya's counsel Gitanath Ganguly submitted that the BCCI's summons to his client to the August 15 meeting was against the principle of natural justice as the matter was already pending for hearing in the court.
Earlier, a day after returning victorious in the CAB elections on July 30, Dalmiya had challenged the BCCI's notice to appear before the committee claiming that the Board's previous summons to appear on July 26 were challenged by him before the court.
