Santhosh Hegde sworn in as 5th Lok Ayukta of K'taka

Bangalore, Aug 3 (UNI) Former Supreme Court Judge N Santhosh Hegde was today sworn in as the fifth Lok Ayukta of Karnataka.

Governor T N Chaturvedi administered the oath of office and secrecy to Mr Hegde at an impressive function at the Raj Bhavan here.

Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, his Deputy B S Yediyurappa, several ministers, Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly N Dharam Singh and several judges of the Karnataka High Court were among others who witnessed the ceremony.
