Upendra's book "Gatham-Swagatha" released

Vijayawada, July 30 (UNI) A book titled "Gatham-Swagatha" penned by former Union Information and Broadcasting Minister P Upendra was released by former Karnataka Governor V Ramadevi at a function here today.

The book written in Telugu is the second part to the earlier book by Mr Upendra, released way back in 1992.

AICC Secretary P Sudhakar Reddy and several other prominent figures attended the function.

Haryana govt to provide free education to Prince

Haldera, Kurukshetra, July 30 (UNI) The Haryana government will provide free education to Prince, the five-year-old boy of the village who was pulled out of a 60-foot-deep bore well on July 23 after a 50-hour-long ordeal. The state government will also develop Haldera as a model village. It has already given a grant of Rs two lakh to the boy's family.
