Zidane's head-butting is now a serious online security threat

Sydney, July 18 (UNI) After inspiring umpteen internet spoofs and other spin-offs, Zinedine Zidane's infamous head-butting of Marco Materazzi is now being used as a bait for a new online security threat, according to media reports.

Sydney Morning Herald quoted security company, Websense, and reported that a fake version of the FIFA World Cup 2006 Soccer website has been created with a lead story on the French soccer captain's assault on the Italian defender and visitors run the risk of being infected by a Trojan Horse even if they don't click on the images or the links.

The site is a mirror reflection of the official FIFA World Cup site, the daily said.

''This (infection) potentially occurs without user interaction,'' said Websense.

The trojan is designed to log keystrokes, download additional code, or open up backdoors on a machine, it added.
