Young couple found dead in mysterious circumstances in A'bad

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, July 18 (UNI) A newly married couple was ound dead in a mysterious circumstances here.

While the wife found dead at their residence, her husband's body found at the railway track yester morning.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Navin Chandra Reddy said that the Mukundwadi police has registered a case of accidental deaths in this regard, and awaiting post mortem reports from the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).

According to the details, Vivek Sonwane (18) and Ashwini (18) had an intercaste marriage three months ago, against the wishes of their parents.

Vivek was working with a private Ooctroi collection agency here, and had been staying at a rented house at Nyaynagar locality, since his marriage.

Mr Dilip Shete, landlord of Vivek noticed yesterday morning that Ashwini has not been responding to his call and found that she was dead. Later, when he informed the same to the Mukundwadi Police, they (police) had already received information about an unknown body laying at the Mukundwai railway track.

The body was identified as that of Vivek. The police found an unsigned note written in Hindi near the dead body of Ashwini. A one line statement found written on the leg of Vivek, that he murdered his wife and ended his life.

However, the police are suspecting the foul play about the note found near the body as well as the statement written on the leg of Vivek.

''We are looking into more details before reaching any conclusion in the case since, it could be a case of double murder or it may be a case of suicide,'' said ACP Mr Reddy.

According to him, the couple was staying separate from their parents and the parents were not in touch with them since last three months.

Meanwhile, both the parents of the couple had reached the GMCH to claim the bodies, Mr Reddy said.

Novelist Mickey Spillane dies at 88
