Rupee opens flat at 46.72/75/USD

Mumbai, July 18 (UNI) The Indian currency today opened flat at Rs 46.72/75/US dollar, as compared to the previous close of Rs 46.75 per USD, a trader in the money market said.

In the mid-morning trade, rupee traded at 46.73/74/US dollar.

The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensitive Index (Sensex) opened in the green, though soon retreated into the red. It was currently trading at 10,243 points.

Civic's craze was behind drop in City's sale, says HSCI

New Delhi, July 18 (UNI) Honda Siel Cars India Ltd (HSCI), the leader in premium car segment, has attributed the poor domestic sales of its popular 'City' model to the ''craze for Honda 'Civic' in India''. GSI confirms of traces of coal in Tripura

Agartala, July (UNI) The Geological Survey of India's (GSI) Tripura-Mizoram regional office has confirmed of finding a coal mine in Tripura's remote village under Khowai sub-divison in west district. Quoting the GSI, state Rural Development Minister Jitendra Chowdhury told newsmen last night that the ''black gold'' in lignite form was found in Tulasikhar block's Jamadarbari area.
