Prayers organised to mourn victims of Naxal attack

Warangal, Andhra Pradesh, July 18 (UNI) The district police here today organised prayers for the victims of Naxal violence in Erraboru village of Dantewada district in Chhattisgarh.

A police team led by Kakatiya University Police Station Sub-Inspector G Sekhar Goud conducted prayers in Santoshimatha temple in Bheemaram area of Hanumakonda town. Many local people participated in the prayers.

Prayers were also held at Hanumakonda town.

Police also organised a rally with the help of college students from Adalat Centre to Collectorate at Hanumakonda town.

Another rally was also organised from Pochamma Grounds to MGM Hospital cross road by Matwada police led by its inspector Dakshina Murthy.

Sandeep, Parth Sharma lose

Chennai, July 18 (UNI) India's Sandeep Jangra and Parth Sharma were defeated in the 14th World Junior Men's Squash Championship in North Palmerston, New Zealand, today. According to a message from Indian team coach Cyrus Poncha, Sandeep and Parth who won their matches in the morning, lost to higher ranked Tom Pashley (Eng) and Simon Rosner (Ger) in the third round. Earlier in the second round matches, they moved ahead in contrasting fashion......
