Mumbai cabs to install electronic meters

Mumbai, July 18 (UNI) Maharashtra Minister of State for Transport Dharmarao Baba Atram today said the 55,000 taxis in Mumbai will install electronic meters within a year.

Making a statement on a calling attention notice by Madhu Chavan (BJP) and others, Mr Atram said necessary amendments in law will be made to facilitate installation of the electronic meters.
