MP Assly to discuss spread of Chicken Guinea disease

Bhopal, July 18 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Speaker Ishwardas Rohani today assured the House that the issue of spread of Chicken Guinea in several districts would be taken up for discussion during the session.

Raising the issue during zero hour, Leader of Opposition in assembly Jamuna Devi said several thousand people were affected by the disease in Betul and other districts. She demanded a discussion over the issue and was joined in by other Congress members.

Mr Rohani urged opposition members to calm down and assured that the matter would be debated. However, he did not mention when the matter would be discussed.

During the zero hour, BJP MLA Sunil Nayak, considered a supporter of expelled BJP leader Uma Bharti, was speaking something over law and order situation.

However, Mr Rohani expunged his remarks for speaking without the Chair's permission.

Bengal experiences bouts of rainfall, warning in coastal area

Kolkata, July 18 (UNI) Several parts of West Bengal experienced heavy rainfall even as Kolkata witnessed occassional bouts of rains in the last two days. The city woke up to a bright morning. However, as the day progressed clouds gathered giving an impression of possible downpour. Dubai Aerospace appoints new CEO

New Delhi, July 18: Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) has appointed Mr Bob Johnson, former chairman and CEO of Honeywell Aerospace, to the role of chief executive officer. DAE was established in Dubai in February 2006 and is building a 15 billion dollars global aerospace, manufacturing and services corporation. The group will grow through a series of phased developments to produce an integrated aerospace cluster based at Dubai World Central, the 140 sq km new airport and logistics city being constructed.....
