Militants kill a student in Kashmir

Srinagar, Jul 18: Militants killed a eleventh class student in presence of large number of people in south Kashmir, official sources said today.

They said a group of five militants kidnapped Mukhtar Ahmad Sheikh during a cricket match at Kulgam in south Kashmir district of Anantnag last afternoon.

Militants later took the boy to his village Nowgam Shopian tied his hands and legs and killed him in the presence of a large number of people, including women.

Later, the militants managed to escape.
