Indio-Russian and China ties must be strong

St Petersburg, July 18: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has said greater cooperation between India, Russia and China was necessary for ''meeting challenges.'' ''The most important thing is to fight against terrorism along with religious extremism, drug trafficking and trans-border crimes, which have linkages to the problem of terrorism,'' Dr Singh told Interfax in an interview.

The Prime Minister, who had the first trilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Hu Jintao on the margins of the G8 summit, said there was also considerable untapped potential for trilateral economic cooperation, including in such spheres as trade, investment, banking, transportation linkages, agriculture, energy and high technologies.

WASHINGTON, July 18 (Reuters) Young women who are overweight at the age of 18 have a higher risk of dying young, but medication and behavior therapy can help young people lose weight, US researchers have reported. A study of 102,400 female nurses showed that women who were overweight or obese when 18 drank more alcohol, smoked more and were less likely to exercise as teens -- and were also more likely to die between the ages.....
