Heavy rains lash Manipur

Imphal, July 18 (UNI) Heavy rains lashed Manipur during the last 24 hours, bringing the temperature down considerably.

MET officials recorded the amount of rainfall at above 20 mm.

The humidity today was as high as 98 per cent.

The maximum temperature was 32.6 degree Celsius while the minimum was 21.6 degree Celsius, MET officials said.

Amritsar, July 18 (UNI) Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Joginder Singh Vidanti today lifted the 'ban' imposed on Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) Simranjit Singh Mann for showing 'disrespect' to the Guru Granth Sahib during a religious function in the Golden Temple complex on July two.
