CM, Home Minister, Speaker condole Sathyan

Thiruvananthapuram, July 18 (UNI) Kerala Chief Minister V S Achuthanadan today condoled the death of former Indian football captain V P Sathyan.

In a condolence message here he said the untimely death of the great footballer, Sathyan was a big loss to the sports world in the country.

As a captain, his contribution for the development of Kerala Football team and the Kerala Police team would always be remembered, he added.

Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan said the death of Mr Sathyan was a great loss to Indian football.

Football lovers in the country would always keep the sterling performance of Mr Sathyan as a Captain in the Kerala state team and Kerala police team in their memory.

Kerala Speaker K Radhakrishnan also condoled the death of Sathyan.
