Black Eyed Peas India tour postponed

Bangalore, July 18 (UNI) The tour management of Black Eyed Peas today announced that their concerts, scheduled to be held in Mumbai and Bangalore on August two and three, have been postponed.

The hip hop quartet was now expected to visit India in the next few months and details of the rescheduled concerts would be announced in due course, according to a release here.

HC asks govt to constitute medical board for Shahabuddin

Patna, July 18 (UNI) Patna High Court today asked Bihar government to constitute a five member board for medical examination of incarcerated RJD MP Mohammed Shahabuddin. After hearing arguments on a writ petition filed by Mr Shahabuddin, a single bench of Jusitce Chandramauli Kumar Prasad passed the order for constitution of the medical board under the chairmanship of the director of state health services. Rajkot, July 18 (UNI) Director of a Sarvodaya School of Jasdan town of this district has been arrested on charges of sexually abusing a student. Acting on a complaint by 12-year-old class seventh student, the police yesterday arrested the accused - Babubhai Becharbhai Sardhara (59) and registered a case under section 354 and 509 of the IPC.
