Visakhapatnam, July 18 (UNI) Andhra University today inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI) of the CISR for greater academic cooperation between the two institutions.
The MoU was signed by Andhra University Vice Chancellor L Venugopala Reddy and NGRI Director V P Dimri in the presence of the university syndicate members.
In his address Dr Reddy recalled the contribution of the university in the field of earth and ocean sciences and said close coordination between national institutions and university would be mutually beneficial leading to the development of better students and professionals.
Dr suggested institutions like NGRI could venture into establishment of outsourcing centres primarily focusing attention on processing, analysis and presentation of data.
