Mr Chouhan told reporters here that efforts were being made to trace out the missing foreigners.
He said the Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) has already been banned by the Centre. However, directions had been issued to keep a close watch on the activities of its workers.
The Chief Minister said an investment of Rs 87,000 crore was proposed in the state out of which work had started on proposals worth Rs 30,000 crore.
A NRI convention is being organised in the state on January 6-7, 2007 in order to attract foreign investors. Besides, single-window clearance has been started for facilitating early clearance of proposals.
Mr Chouhan said recruitment of 50,000 teachers was in last phase. Efforts were being made to set up new industries in Ratlam.
He announced that the state government will provide Rs 50 lakh to the district.
