Govt to formulate projects for revival of sick PSUs:Minister

Thiruvananthapuram, June 30 (UNI) Kerala Industries Minister Elamaram Kareem told the State Assembly today that the Government would formulate projects for the revival of sick Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) in the State. Strike paralyses NALCO production, train services affected

Bhubaneswar, June 30 (UNI) Production in NALCO came to a grinding halt and work in several central government undertakings in Orissa were paralysed in response to a strike called by seven trade unions to protest disinvestment in NALCO by the UPA government. Rawatbhata's fifth unit to become critical from Mar next year

Kota, June 30 (UNI) The underconstruction fifth unit of Rawatbhata Atomic Power Plant (RAPP) will become critical from March 2007. The sixth unit of RAPP is expected to become critical from February, 2008. RAPP's director S P Jhamb said all efforts are being made to complete the construction of these units before time to ensure cost saving and also to start production of power as early as possible.
