Four tribal girls missing from Duars

Siliguri, Jun 28 (UNI) Four tribal girls are reportedly missing from Dhumchipara Tea Garden in Duars under Madarihat police station area.

Police said here todauy that Pabitra Chetri(17), Nikita Yonjon(16), Anu Yonjon(15) and Bonu Dorjee were missing since June 25.

Pabitra's father Bishnu Chetri has lodged a missing diary at Madarihat police station.

''Kanchi Lama alias Maya Sharma of Lankapara has been suspiciously hovering in the area for the last seven days,'' Mr Chetri said Mr Chetri alleged that Kanchi Lama had promised to give job to his daughter in Delhi.

Police is investigating into the matter.

Complaint against Star One's Laughter Challenge show dismissed

Pravin Mahajan's JC extended till July 12

Mumbai, June 28: A local court here today extended the judicial custody of Pravin Mahajan who has been accused of murdering his elder brother and senior BJP leader Pramod Mahajan till july 12.Pravin had allegedly shot thrice Pramod Mahajan on April 22 following which the latter had succumbed to his injuries on May 3.Pravin was not physically produced before the court today, but additional chief metropolitan magistrate B L Waghmare extended the custody through video conferencing held at.....

Jet moves SC seeking arbitration petition transfer

New Delhi, June 28: Jet Airways today moved the Supreme Court seeking transfer of arbitration petition pending in the court of District Judge Lucknow to Bombay High Court on the grounds that Lucknow court has no jurisdiction to adjudicate the matter.Jet Airways have also contended that a similar petition is already pending in Bombay High Court and it will be in the interest of justice if the petition pending in Lucknow court filed by Sahara Airlines is also transferred to.....
