South African delegation visits city schools

Hyderabad, June 16 (UNI) A Six-member Education Labour Relations delegation from South Africa, visited schools in the city to study the education system and human resource management.

The team visited Hyderabad Public School, Ramanthapur and Govt.Red High School. It interacted with the State Project Director, Sarva Siksha Abhiyaan, K Chandramouli and School Education Director Balasubramaniyam, according to an official press release.

The delegation included Mr Pieter Markel, Ms Sunto Sibeko, Mr Salie Faker, Mr Erik Shandukani, Ms Jumaima Masire, Mr Voti Zatu.

The delegation had also visited New Delhi and Bangalore to study the education system there.

Omar protest human rights abuses in Kashmir

BJP demands CMs' meet on fuel price hike

Hyderabad, June 16 : Senior BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu today demanded that the Centre convene a meeting of all state chief ministers to discuss the issue of hike in prices of petroleum products.Talking to newspersons here, Mr Naidu said the UPA government should organise the meet and discuss the issue of rationalisation of sales tax on petro products in the states.
