UTI BANK opens branch

Visakhapatnam, May 22(UNI) UTI Bank President Hemant Kaul today inaugurated its second branch in the city.

In a press release here, Mr Kaul said the bank would reinforce its commitment to bring superior banking sevices to the customers.

The bank has a network of 359 branches, spread across more than 259 cities and towns.

The bank's centralised database would enable the customers to operate their accounts from anywhere in the country.

The bank would reach out to a large section of customers in the retail and corporate segment, the release added.

Gold drops 3.5 pct on firm dollar, volatile

LONDON, May 22 (Reuters) Volatile gold prices fell 3.5 percent to their lowest in nearly four weeks on Monday and dragged down mining shares as a firm dollar prompted investors to get out of the market, dealers said. Oil falls below $68 as commodity sell-off continues

LONDON, May 22 (Reuters) Oil prices fell below on Monday to a six-week low as concern that inflation may slow economic growth encouraged selling across commodities markets. U.S. crude was trading 76 cents lower at .77 a barrel at 1100 GMT, recovering some ground from an earlier dip to the lowest level since April 10. Brent crude was down 71 cents at .97.
