Three killed, 22 injured in bus-truck collision on Express way

Vadodara, May 22 (UNI) Three people were killed and 22 others injured, four of them critically, when a private luxury bus rammed into a truck on the Ahmedabad-Vadodara national expressway number one, near Chikodra, early this morning.

Police said there were about 40 passengers in the ill-fated bus, which was on its way to Vadodara from Ahmedabad, when it hit the truck from behind at high speed.

According to Lifeline Foundation sources, all the victims were rushed to a private hospital in Anand, where three were declared brought dead.

The identity of the deceased, who are in the age group of 20-30, is yet to be established.

SC refuses petition on submarine batteries purchase

Shabir Shah to take decision on Round Table today
