Spicejet offers 21,000 seats at Rs 99

Mumbai, May 22 (UNI) SpiceJet has decided to celebrate its first anniversary by offering 21,000 seats at a meagre Rs 99 per seat.

The sale will open tommorrow at 1000 hrs and these tickets will be available only on SpiceJet website www.spicejet.com.

A release issued here today said, in its one year of operations, SpiceJet carried over 16,00,000 passengers on its network. It recorded the highest load factor of over 86 per cent since its launch and achieved 99.5 per cent flight dispatch reliability and maintained over 90 per cent on-time performance.

Making this announcement, Spicejet CEO Siddhanta Sharma said the company is committed to providing value-for-money fares and stimulating the domestic market. ''Our expansion plan later this year will offer more destinations and increased flights,'' he added.

Anniversary 'Red Hot' fares from July to September will be available across SpiceJet network of 49 daily flights, covering 11 cities and will be available for booking with effect from 1000 hrs tomorrow, the release added.
