Priyanka Chopra's father complains about threat calls

Mumbai, May 22 (UNI) Dr Ashok Chopra, father of Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra, has written a letter to the police saying his family was receiving threat calls and, therefore, living under constant fear.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Amitabh Gupta today confirmed that Priyanka's father had indeed written a letter to the police informing about the threat calls.

Mr Gupta said the letter has been forwarded to the police station concerned for further investigations. He, however, declined to divulge further details.

Meanwhile, the controversial former secretary of the actor, Prakash Jaju, in an interview to a channel has claimed that Priyanka Chopra owed him more than Rs one crore as fees and royalty for the several movies she had signed during his tenure as her secretary.

Earlier, veteran actor and film-maker Rakesh Roshan had slapped a legal notice on Prakash Jaju for making false statements, threatening to extort money, and for defaming his forthcoming movie ''Krrish'' in certain sections of the media.
