Panels set up for improving school education

Bhopal, May 22 (UNI) Aimed at improving higher secondary education, the Madhya Pradesh government has constituted 12 committees to give suggestions on various issues for qualitative improvement in education by june 10, public instructions commissioner L S Baghal said.

The committees pertain to information technology, culture, career guidance, difficult concept, inspection and supervision, teachers training, sports, parent-teacher coordination, annual work plan, examination, teachers welfare and educational tours.

Mr Baghel said the IT committee would suggest measures for encouraging the use of information technology in schools. Similarly, the committee on difficult concept will find out conceptual difficulties in the syllabus of Class IX and X and suggest easy methods for solving the difficulties and for preparing a foundation course.

Mr Baghel said the committee on career guidance would suggest possible careers after class X and XII. It would also give guidance on self-employment.

If necessary, Mr Baghel said, the committees would hold meetings in districts as also with guardians and educationists.

Three women legislators in Asom Home
