N T R's son joined TDP

Hyderabad, May 22 (UNI) M Harikrishna, son of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) founder and late former Chief Minister N T Rama Rao today joined the TDP in the presence of party President N Chandrababu Naidu at his residence.

Mr Harikrishna, brother-in-law of Mr Naidu served as a minister during the TDP regime but had quit the party due to differences with the TDP President.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Harikrishna told newspersons that he would work for the party and follow the ideals of his father.

Several senior TDP leaders and activists were also present in the programme.
