Japan U-19 Football Team to play three friendly matches

New Delhi, May 22 (UNI) Japan's under-19 football squad will play two friendlies against India under-20 team on May 25 and 28 in Bangalore.

The 24-member team, arriving tomorrow, will play another match against Bangalore Club team on May 26.

Sachin to undergo fitness test tomorrow

Mumbai, May 22 (UNI) Batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar will undergo a fitness test at the Mumbai Cricket Association's Bandra-Kurla Complex ground here tomorrow, BCCI sources said. The test would take place in presence of Andrew Leipus (former physio of Indian cricket team) and selection committee chairman Kiran More. Sachin underwent a surgery on the shoulder in March in London which was performed by Dr Andrew Wallace. Though, he opted out of the ODI against West.....

DD to live telecast Asian Athletics GP, World Team Cup tennis

New Delhi, May 22 (UNI) Public broadcaster Doordarshan will telecast live the Bangalore and the Pune legs of the Asian Athletics Grand Prix series today and on May 26 respectively on DD Sports Channel. The Bangalore leg, which is going to be held at Kanteerava Stadium will be broadcast at 2030 hrs while the Pune leg, to staged at Raom Sanas Sports Stadium will be shown live from 1530 hrs to 1930 hrs.
