Netizens favour extension of Lokayukta's tenure

Karnataka, May 21: Internet community favours an extension to the tenure of Lokayukta N Venkatachala. The Karnataka State Human Rights Council (KSHRC) has got positive feedback from the Internet community in the mass opinion poll campaign initiated by the council.
www.technopalindia.com/kshrc, the poll website, clocked more than 10,800 hits, said Vivekanand S K, KSHRC State President. The third day of on-the-road campaign of KSHRC continued to pull in participants, he added.

"We collected more than 10,000 opinions from Bangalore on Saturday, through campaigns in Sadashivanagar, Malleshwaram, Vijayanagar and Yeshwanthpur," said Mr Vivekanand. KSHRC will release the poll results after May 25. The council plans to call upon CM H D Kumaraswamy and Governor T N Chaturvedi to brief them on the public response.
