Probe against Maran feasible, BJP will unravel the mystery: Sidhu

Chennai, May 1 (UNI) Asserting that a high level inquiry into the ''arm twisting'' charges against Union Minister Dayanidhi Maran was the most viable and feasible option, Former cricketer and BJP National Executive Committee member Navjot Singh Sidhu today said the party would leave no stone unturned to unravel the mystery.

Talking to newspersons here, he said the charges were incriminating in nature and breached the faith and trust of the people, to whom the MPs were accountable.

''A high-level inquiry is imminent and it is the most viable and feasible option'', Sidhu, who mixed euphemisms and his trade mark ''siddhuisms'' during his interaction, said.

Mr Maran is at the centre of controversy following allegations that he tried to ''arm-twist' the Tatas to part with their DTH business for Sun TV network, owned by his brother Kalanidhi Maran.

Reacting to it DMK President M Karunandihi, who is also the grandfather of the Union Minister, said he would be the first person to take action against Mr Maran if he was found guilty.

Replying to a question, the Lok Sabha Member from Amritsar said the BJP would raise the issue in Parliament and leave no stone unturned to unravel the mysery.

''We will not shy away from our responsibilty. All the issues concerning the people will be raised in Parliament', he added.
