New Delhi, May 1: Honda Siel Cars India Ltd (HSCI), manufacturer of Honda City and Honda Accord, recorded a growth of 27.3 per cent having sold 4,551 units in April 2006 as against 3,575 units in the corresponding period last year.
HSCI's cumulative sales rose by 22 per cent at 17,430 units from 14,286 units during January-April 2006 for the same period last year.
Honda City, the flagship model from HSCI, registered sales of 4,007 units.
Honda Accord sold 231 units and the CR-V sales were 313 units in April 2006.
An all-new Honda City was introduced in October 2003 which did fairly well.
