Bhagat Singh student kills self for not getting exam admit card

New Delhi, May 1 (UNI) A second-year student of Shahid Bhagat Singh College allegedly committed suicide by dousing herself at her Mansarovar Park residence in North-East Delhi.

Surinder Kaur, allegedly poured kerosene and set on fire herself at about 0020 hrs today at her Ram Nagar residence in Mansarovar Park, according to sources Others in the family had gone to a 'satsang'.

She was rushed to the G T B Hospital where she died.

No suicide note has been found, but family members said she was frustated over not being alloted her 'admit card' for her forthcoming exams.

She had not been keeping in good health for the past three months because of which she was short of attendance, they added.

Surinder's father Balvinder runs an auto rickshaw.

Man commits suicide after killing paramour, her 2 children

Ferozabad, May 1 (UNI) A homeguard jawan today allegedly committed suicide after shooting dead his paramour and her two minor children in the district. Police said Lajjaram of Sanjivan Nagar had an illicit affair with a married woman in his neighbourhood. Warangal, Andhra Pradesh, May 1 (UNI) Four persons, including the main accused in the Prasar Bharati Correspondent Vjayanand Goud's murder case, Shankar Goud, were arrested here today. Speaking to newsmen here, Warangal Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Liyakat Ali Khan said Goud killed Vijayanand with the help of the other accused.
