4 held for scribe's murder

Warangal, Andhra Pradesh, May 1 (UNI) Four persons, including the main accused in the Prasar Bharati Correspondent Vjayanand Goud's murder case, Shankar Goud, were arrested here today.

Speaking to newsmen here, Warangal Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Liyakat Ali Khan said Goud killed Vijayanand with the help of the other accused.

He said the police arrested them at Warangal Bus Stand.The murder followed financial and family dispute, the DSP said.

The scribe who had come here to attend an examination was murdered near Warangal Fort on January six.

Kishanganj, Apr 29 (UNI) A local court today awarded life imprisonment to two people in connection with murder of Nazir of Kochdhama block in Kishanganj district..
