10 arrested for damaging public property

Barrackpore, May 1 (UNI) Police arrested 10 people for allegedly damaging public properly by attacking the local state electricity board office at Motijheel under Dum Dum police station in North 24 Parganas.

Angry residents of Motijheel and adjoining areas had attacked the SEB office expressing resentment for regular disruption of power supply.

People of the area had been suffering in absence of power for past few days because of hot weather.

The local residents had gone to the SEB office demanding restoration of normal power supply in the area.

SC stays construction of five malls in Vasant Kunj
