Repoll in two booths on May 2

Thiruvananthapuram, Apr 30 (UNI) The Election Commission has ordered repoll at booth No. 144 in Nadapuram of Kozhikode district and booth No. 109 in Perinthalmanna of Malappuram district on May two.

Polling had been suspended at booth No. 144 in Nadapuram following complaints that a sticker had been fixed on the symbol of a candidate on the electronic voting machine(EVM) there.

Repolling was ordered in booth No. 109 of Perinthalmanna because of a technical snag on the EVM there, according to a press release from the Chief Electoral Officer here.

Both the constituencies had gone to polls during the second phase of the Assembly elections held yesterday.
