LDF will get majority: Cong(S)

Kannur, Kerala, Apr 30 (UNI) Congress(S) President Ramachandran Kadannappally today said the Left Democratic Front (LDF) will get a comfortable majority in the Assembly elections.

Talking to newspersons here, he said there had been a favourable trend in favour of the LDF, since the electioneering started.

Mr Kadannappally, who is contesting from Edakkad Assembly constituency in Kannur district, said the LDF's majority would improve after the third phase of elections in Kannur and Kasargod districts.

Pointing out that it was unfortunate that the Election Commission had declared all polling areas in Kannur district as sensitive, he said it would create panic among the voters. ''This would affect the smooth and democratic process of voting deployment,'' he added.
