Notorious robber arrested in Mumbai

Mumbai, Apr 29 (UNI) The Detection Crime Branch unit of Mumbai police today arrested one of the top ten robbers in the metropolis from Bhendi Bazar in south Mumbai.

Senior Inspector Pradeep Sharma said accused Iqbal Kasam Pathan was arrested in the wee hours.

Pathan was one of the most wanted robber in the metropolis.

Several cases of robbery, house breaking and others had been registered against him.

Mr Sharma said he was produced before the Metropolitan Magistrate (holiday) which remanded him to police custody till May two.

Kishanganj, Apr 29 (UNI) A local court today awarded life imprisonment to two people in connection with murder of Nazir of Kochdhama block in Kishanganj district..
