Nirma Q4 net plummets 11.95 pc

Mumbai, Apr 29 (UNI) Nirma Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 95.17 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 108.09 crore for the corresponding quarter in the last fiscal year, a decline of 11.95 per cent.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income has increased from Rs 466.32 crore in Q4 FY 05 to Rs 503.72 crore for Q4 FY 06.

It has posted a net profit of Rs 372.17 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 284.65 crore for the last fiscal year. Total income has increased from Rs 1852.34 crore in FY 05 to Rs 1940.48 crore for FY 06.

Mumbai, Apr 29 (UNI) Dredging Corporation of India Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 53.95 crore in Q4 FY 06 as against Rs 33.01 crore in Q4 FY 05, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) today. Mumbai, Apr 29 (UNI) Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) has registered a fall in its net profit at Rs 86.12 crore in Q4 FY 06 as against Rs 126.33 crore in Q4 FY 05, the company informed the BSE today. AP achieves 51 per cent growth rate in IT exports

Hyderabad, Apr 29 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh has retained the highest growth rate among the states in the country, achieving more than 51 per cent growth over last year's exports, state IT secretary Ms K Ratna Prabha said today. Addressing the press here, Mr Ratna said the state has achieved 51 per cent growth rate against a national average growth rate of 36 per cent.
