Extra hour of polling during Rae Bareli bypoll

Lucknow, Apr 29 (UNI) An extra hour of polling has been appended to May Eight next bypoll to Rae Bareli parliamentary constituency of Uttar Pradesh.

State Chief Electoral Officer Anuj Kumar Bishnoi said here today that polling on May Eight will take place for ten hours instead of the standard nine hours.

Polling will begin at 0700 hrs and ends at 1700 hrs, instead of 0800 hrs to 1700 hrs, he added.
