Bangalore, Apr 24 (UNI) Volvo India's Construction Equipment Division today consolidated its market leadership with the launch of its new EC 700BLC Excavator and G900 Series Motor Grader.
The EC700BLC and G930 came with specialisd features giving it an edge over other similar products existing in the market. The company had already a dominant and growing presence in the market with over 33 per cent share in the motor grader segment and a growing market share of 13 per cent in the excavator segment.
Built on extensive customer input and exhaustive research, the Volvo EC700BLC excavator had a commanding performance profile.
Speaking after the launch at its Hoskote plant, near here, Volvo Construction Equipment in India Head Mrityunjay Singh said ''When we designed the new EC700BLC, we examined every component to determine how to maximize comfort, reliability, productivity and serviceability.
''The result is a Volvo engine that is reliable and performance-driven, built to perfectly match hydraulic output levels for maximum productivity. A hydraulic system that is both tough and intelligent, designed to respond to the slightest operator command a cabin with a full range of operator conveniences and comforts to help the work day go smooth,'' he added.
The G390 Motor Grader, another state-of-the-art addition to Volvo's range of Motor Graders, was used for mining and road building construction. Its high performance, heavy-duty six-cylinder turbocharged Tier III Volvo engine allowed more work to get done with less effort.
Both the new products of Volvo had high reliability in terms of power, production and profitability that anyone working with construction equipment demands.
