Silverline Technologies to restructure debt programme

Mumbai, Apr 24 (UNI) Silverline Technologies Ltd at its 13th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the company held last Friday have decided to adopt the accounts for the financial year 2004-05 along with the adoption of all resolutions.

Informing the BSE, the company said the management presented the restructuring plan and its progress undertaken by First call India Equity Advisors Pvt Ltd. Shareholders welcomed the restructuring undertaken by the company.

The management also informed shareholders about debt-restructuring plan, which the company has undertaken. The company`s focus currently is in the software development and consultancy services and in addition will be going forward in the areas of ITES, Technology Help Desk Practices and IT Outsourcing Opportunities as has been presented in the AGM.

Exim Bank extends USD 65 mn credit line to Ethiopia

Mumbai, Apr 24 (UNI) Export-Import Bank of India (Exim Bank) has, at the behest of Government of India, extended a Line of Credit (LOC) of USD 65 million to the Government of Ethiopia. The LOC agreement was signed in New Delhi on April 20, 2006. This is the first ever Line of Credit extended by Exim Bank to the Government of Ethiopia. 20 per cent vote polled in Patna (west) by-election

Patna, Apr 24 (UNI) An estimated 20 per cent voters turned out to exercise their franchise in the by-election for Patna (West) Assembly constituency that ended peacefully today. State election office said about 20 per cent of the total 512,506 voters, including 220,438 women, turned out to vote. The political fate of 13 candidates, including BJP's Nitin Navin and Ajay Kumar Singh of this Cong was sealed in the EVMs. The polling was peaceful and incident.....
