OPEC will not alter output at Doha talks-official

DOHA, Apr 24: OPEC oil ministers will not alter their production ceiling of 28 million barrels per day when they meet soon on the sidelines of an energy summit, a top OPEC official said on Monday.

OPEC ministers have said they have little power over record high oil prices which have rallied largely as a result of global tensions rather than a world shortage of oil.
