NCDEX records trade worth Rs 4,501 cr

Mumbai, Apr 24 (UNI) As many as 574 members of the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchanges (NCDEX) participated in trading worth Rs 4,501 crore (one way) upto 1700 hrs today.

There were 1,00,090 trades put through by them. Active trades were in guarseeds, chana, silver, gold, wheat and urad, a NCDEX release said.

On Saturday, about 563 members had participated in trading and put through more than 72,800 trades. The volume for the whole day trading till 1400 hrs was Rs 2,948 crore (one way).

Active trades were in guarseed, silver, wheat, soy bean, refined soy oil and chana, the release added.
